INSTALLATION

Removal / installation


1. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

  1. B122754E02
    Using a tacker, install the front seatback heater to the end of the seat cover with the 7 tack pins.


2. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126699E01
    Using hog ring pliers, install the front seatback cover to the front seatback pad with new hog rings.

    NOTICE:
    1. Be careful not to damage the cover.
    2. When installing the hog rings, take care to minimize wrinkles as much as possible.


3. INSTALL FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat)

4. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Manual Seat)

5. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Manual Seat)

6. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

7. INSTALL FRONT LOWER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH (for Manual Seat)

8. INSTALL FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

9. INSTALL RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (for Manual Seat)

10. INSTALL NO.2 VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

11. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Manual Seat)

12. INSTALL VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB LH (for Manual Seat)

13. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. B122295E01
    Install the front seat inner belt assembly with the nut.

    Torque:
    42 N*m{ 428 kgf*cm , 31 ft.*lbf }

    NOTICE:
    Do not allow the anchor part of the front seat inner belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the front seat adjuster.

  1. Connect the connector and attach the 3 clamps.

14. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER (for Power Seat)

    Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover to the seatback pad with new hog rings.


15. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. B126061
    Fully cover the airbag with the 2 seatback cover brackets and tighten the nut.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }

    CAUTION:
    1. For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
    2. Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
    3. Install the bracket securely.

    Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seat frame with new hog rings, and attach the hooks.

    Install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seat frame. (w/o Seatback Board)


16. INSTALL FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. B126061
    Fully cover the airbag with the 2 seatback cover brackets and tighten the nut.

    Torque:
    5.5 N*m{ 56 kgf*cm , 49 in.*lbf }

    CAUTION:
    1. For vehicles with side airbags, the seatback cover must be securely installed. Otherwise, the side airbags may not deploy properly.
    2. Make sure that the strap is not twisted after installing the bracket.
    3. Install the bracket securely.

    Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seat frame with new hog rings.

    Using hog ring pliers, install the seatback cover (with pad) to the seat frame with new hog rings, and attach the hooks.

  1. B121647
    Install the front seatback cover and attach the hooks.


17. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Power Seat)

19. INSTALL FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

20. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Power Seat)

21. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD NO.1 LH (for Power Seat)

22. INSTALL SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

23. INSTALL RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

24. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

25. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. Place the seat in the cabin.

  1. Connect the connectors under the seat.

  1. Connect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.

    Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

    HINT:
    Tighten the 2 bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. B128141
    Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }


26. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

27. INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

28. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

29. INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

30. INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

31. INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. Place the front seat assembly in the vehicle and align the adjuster pin with the hole on the vehicle side.

    NOTICE:
    When installing the passenger side front seat assembly, be careful not to step on the yaw rate sensor mounted on the floor under the seat.

  1. Connect the connector.

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.

    NOTICE:
    Check that the seat is locked.

    Temporarily install the front seat track bracket with the 2 bolts.

  1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.

    NOTICE:
    Check that the seat is locked.

  1. B123514
    Temporarily install the rear seat track bracket with the 2 bolts.

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.

    NOTICE:
    Check that the seat is locked.

  1. Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }

  1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.

    NOTICE:
    Check that the seat is locked.

  1. Fully tighten the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket in the order of the inner side bolt and then the outer side bolt.

    Torque:
    37 N*m{ 377 kgf*cm , 27 ft.*lbf }


32. INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

34. INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Manual Seat)
