REMOVAL

Removal / installation


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

2. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Manual Seat)

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat outer track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear inner seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket.

  1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the center position and adjust the seatback to the vertical position by operating the slide and reclining adjuster release handle.

  1. Disconnect the connectors and clamp.

  1. Remove the front seat assembly.

    NOTICE:
    When removing the passenger side front seat assembly, be careful not to step on the yaw rate sensor mounted on the floor under the seat.


7. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

8. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover outer front LH.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


9. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

10. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.

    Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat track cover rear outer LH.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


11. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

12. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    CAUTION:
    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent the airbag and seat belt pretensioner from deploying (Click here).

  1. Disconnect the connectors under the seat. Then remove the seat.


13. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


14. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


15. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

  1. B123739
    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH INNER NO. 1 CUSHION SHIELD (for Power Seat)

    Release the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

    Remove the 6 screws.

  1. Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.


17. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Power Seat)

  1. Remove the screw.

  1. Using a screwdriver, detach the claw.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

  1. Using a clip remover, detach the clip and remove the cushion shield.


18. REMOVE FRONT SEAT BACK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. B123750
    Open the lower part of the seatback board. Then remove the 2 screws.

  1. Pull the seatback board in the direction indicated by the arrow in the illustration to detach the 2 claws. Then, remove the seatback board.


19. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Power Seat)

    Detach the 2 claws and remove the headrest support.


20. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Power Seat)

21. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. B123751
    Open the 2 zippers and seatback cover.

  1. B121649E01
    Remove the hog rings and hooks.

  1. B126061
    Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.


22. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEATBACK ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. B123760E01
    Remove the hog ring and hooks.

  1. B121649E01
    Remove the hog rings and hooks.

  1. B121648E01
    Remove the hog rings.

  1. B126061
    Remove the nut and 2 seatback cover brackets.


23. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. B128170E01
    Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.


24. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


25. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126081
    Remove the snap ring and the vertical seat adjuster knob.


26. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126082
    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


27. REMOVE NO. 2 VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

    Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle.


28. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126084
    Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


29. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126693
    Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the claw and clamp and remove the seat cushion shield.


30. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


31. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD (for Manual Seat)

    Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and clip then remove the front inner seat cushion shield.


32. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Manual Seat)

    Open the 2 zippers and seatback cover.

    Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front seat headrest support.


33. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST SUPPORT (for Manual Seat)

34. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat)

    Remove the hog rings and disengage the hooks.

  1. B126688
    Remove the nut and separate the bracket.

  1. Remove the front seatback cover with pad.


35. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT BACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126692E01
    Remove the hog rings and front separate type seat back cover.


36. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY

  1. B123724E01
    Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.
