REMOVAL

Removal / installation


1. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

2. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

  1. B126076
    Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the seat track bracket cover outer front LH.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


3. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER (for Power Seat)

4. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.

    Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the front seat track cover rear outer LH.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


5. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Power Seat)

6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the front seat track bracket.

  1. Operate the power seat switch knob and move the seat to the position farthest forward.

    Remove the 2 bolts on the rear seat track bracket.

  1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

    CAUTION:
    Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent the airbag and seat belt pretensioner from deploying (Click here).

  1. Disconnect the connectors under the seat. Then remove the seat.


7. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 4 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


8. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

  1. B123738
    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


9. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB (for Power Seat)

  1. B123739
    Using a screwdriver, detach the knob.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


10. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD WITH INNER NO.1 CUSHION SHIELD (for Power Seat)

  1. B123740
    Release the 2 rubber bands of the front seatback board from the front seat frame.

  1. B123741
    Remove the 6 screws.

  1. Disengage the claw and separate the front seat cushion shield assembly.

  1. Disconnect the connector from the front power seat lumbar switch.


11. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY LH (for Power Seat)

  1. B123748
    Disconnect the connectors and detach the clamps.

  1. B123749
    Using a screwdriver, detach the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.


12. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Power Seat)

  1. B121644E01
    Remove the hog rings and seat cushion cover from the seat cushion pad.


13. REMOVE FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

14. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. Move the front seat assembly to the rearmost position by operating the slide handle.

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front inner seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


15. REMOVE FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B123510
    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the front outer seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


16. REMOVE REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. Move the front seat assembly fully forward by operating the slide handle.

    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear seat outer track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


17. REMOVE REAR INNER SEAT TRACK COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. B123512
    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 2 claws and remove the rear inner seat track bracket cover.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


18. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126081
    Remove the snap ring and the vertical seat adjuster knob.


19. REMOVE VERTICAL SEAT ADJUSTER KNOB CAP (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126082
    Using a screwdriver, disengage the 3 claws and remove the vertical seat adjuster knob cap.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


20. REMOVE VERTICAL ADJUSTING HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126083
    Remove the 2 screws and vertical adjusting handle.


21. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126084
    Lift the reclining adjuster release handle.

  1. Using a screwdriver, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.

    HINT:
    Tape the screwdriver tip before use.


22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126693
    Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the claw and clamp and remove the seat cushion shield.


23. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT BELT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat)

  1. Disconnect the connector and detach the 3 clamps.

    Remove the nut and front seat inner belt assembly.


24. REMOVE FRONT INNER SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH (for Manual Seat)

  1. B123487
    Remove the screw.

  1. Disengage the 2 claws and clip then remove the front inner seat cushion shield.


25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD (for Manual Seat)

  1. B104688
    Passenger seat only:

    1. Separate the belt warning occupant detection sensor.

  1. B126086
    Disengage the 2 hooks.

  1. B126087E01
    Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad.


26. REMOVE FRONT SEPARATE TYPE SEAT CUSHION COVER (for Manual Seat)

  1. B126686E01
    Remove the hog rings.

  1. B126694E01
    Remove the hog rings and front seat cushion cover.


27. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY

  1. B123723E01
    Cut off the tack pins that fasten the seat heater, and then remove the front seat cushion heater assembly from the seat cushion cover.
