INSPECT DOOR COURTESY LIGHT

  1. E119972E01
    Disconnect the connector from the door courtesy light.

  1. Measure the voltage of the connector.

    Standard voltage:
    LH Side: 
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    M5-2 (+) - M5-1 (-)
    		 Any door is opened
    		 10 to 14 V
    M5-2 (+) - M5-1 (-)
    		 All doors are closed
    		 Below 1 V
    RH Side: 
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Condition
    L6-2 (+) - L6-1 (-)
    		 Any door is opened
    		 10 to 14 V
    L6-2 (+) - L6-1 (-)
    		 All doors are closed
    		 Below 1 V

    If the result is not as specified, repair or replace wire harness or connector.

  1. E119973E01
    Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 2 and the (-) lead to terminal 1.

  1. Check that the door courtesy light comes on.

    OK:
    Comes on

    If the result is not as specified, replace the door courtesy light.
