REMOVAL
HINT:
Removal of the thermostat would have an adverse effect, causing a lowering of cooling efficiency. Do not remove the thermostat, even if engine tends to overheat.

REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER

3. REMOVE WATER INLET (a) Remove the 3 nuts, water inlet and gasket. |

4. REMOVE THERMOSTAT
(a) Remove the thermostat from the water inlet.
(b) Remove the gasket from the thermostat.
