INSPECTION
1. INSPECT ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Partially insert the sensor into the water and warm up the water. |
|
(b) Measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard resistance:

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.
NOTICE:
When checking the ECT sensor in the water, keep the terminals dry. After the check, wipe the sensor dry.
