REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 2006 MY LX470 [05/2005 -        ]; 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL+

3. REMOVE INTAKE AIR CONNECTOR PIPE 2006 MY LX470 [05/2005 -        ]; 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL+

4. DISCONNECT ENGINE WIRE

(a) Disconnect the 2 engine wire clamps from the cylinder head cover LH side.

5. REMOVE IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Remove the bolt and ignition coil.
