  • This DTC is output when communication stops between the sliding roof driver gear (sliding roof ECU) and multiplex network body ECU (main).

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)

(a) Check that the operation of the sliding roof is normal.

HINT:

In this inspection, whether or not the sliding roof driver gear (sliding roof ECU) CPU functions normally can be diagnosed.

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU)

2.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SLIDING ROOF DRIVER GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (SLIDING ROOF ECU) - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU (MAIN))

(a) Disconnect the ECU connectors mentioned in the table below.

(b) Check the continuity of the wire harness between the connectors on the wire harness.

OK:

There is continuity between the connectors.

HINT:
