DESCRIPTION
This DTC is detected when the transponder key ECU does not detect the unlock warning switch ON even with the ignition switch ON. In normal condition, the unlock warning switch should be ON when the ignition switch ON.

(a) Check the DATA LIST for proper functioning of the unlock warning switch.

(a) Remove the switch.
|
(b) Measure the resistance of the switch. Standard resistance:

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (UNLOCK WARNING SWITCH - TRANSPONDER KEY ECU AND BODY GROUND) |
(a) Disconnect the U1 switch connector.
(b) Disconnect the T27 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:
