Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the theft warning ECU assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT FUSE (SECURITY, ECU-B2, BAT, ECU-IG1, AM1)

(a) Remove the SECURITY and ECU-B2 fuses from the cowl side junction block RH.

(b) Remove the BAT fuse from the engine room junction block.

(c) Remove the ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuses from the cowl side junction block LH.

(d) Measure the resistance of the fuses.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

NG

REPLACE FUSE

OK

2.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (THEFT WARNING ECU ASSEMBLY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the T6 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance and voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:

Tester Connection

T6-29 (E) - Body ground

Below 1 Ω
