REMOVAL

1. REMOVE TRANSMITTER HOUSING COVER

NOTICE:

Special caution should be taken when handling each component as they are precise electronic components.

(a) Using a screwdriver, remove the screw.

(b) Push the cover with your finger as shown in the illustration so a gap appears. Then pry out the cover using that gap.

NOTICE:

Do not forcibly pry up the cover.

2. REMOVE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER MODULE SUB-ASSEMBLY

3. REMOVE TRANSMITTER BATTERY

(a) Using a coin or other flat object, pry open the transmitter cover.

(b) Remove the transmitter battery (lithium battery).

NOTICE:

Do not push the terminals with your finger.
Forcibly prying up the battery (lithium battery) to remove it will deform the terminals.
Do not touch the battery with wet hands. Water may cause rust.
Do not touch or move any components inside the transmitter because handling the components may interfere with proper operation of the transmitter.
