Receiving the signal from the tire pressure warning reset switch, the tire pressure monitor ECU indicates the initialization of the tire pressure warning system.

CHECK TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH FUNCTION

(a)
Perform the tire pressure reset switch test in TEST MODE PROCEDURE
.
OK:
Reset switch ON:
Tire pressure warning light comes on.
Reset switch OFF:
Tire pressure warning light blinks.

INSPECT TIRE PRESSURE WARNING RESET SWITCH

|
(a) Remove the reset switch.
|
|
(b) Measure the resistance of the switch.

(a) Disconnect the T35 switch connector.
|
|
(b) Disconnect the T37 ECU connector.
(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
