(c) Press the DEF switch and change it to step operation.
(d) Press the DEF switch and check the operation of the air mix damper and the condition of the blower.

CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DAMPER CONTROL SERVO MOTOR |
|
(a) Remove the front air mix servo motor. (b) Connect positive (+) lead to terminal 3 (HMOT) and negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (MCOOL), and check the front air mix damper control servo motor. OK: The lever turns smoothly to warm side. (c) Connect positive (+) lead to terminal 2 (MCOOL) and negative (-) lead to terminal 3 (HMOT), and check the front air mix damper control servo motor. OK: The lever turns smoothly to cool side. |
