DISASSEMBLY
1. REMOVE EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Disconnect the connector clamp. |
|
(b) Remove the 8 screws and No. 1 cooler cover.
(c) Remove the evaporator.
(d) Remove the air refiner filter.
2. REMOVE EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Remove the evaporator temperature sensor from the evaporator. |
|
3. REMOVE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE
|
(a) Remove the grommet. |
|
(b) Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 bolts and remove the expansion valve and tube from the evaporator.
NOTICE:
Cover the opening of the disconnected parts to prevent them from entering moisture or dirt.
(c) Remove the 4 O-rings from the tube and expansion valve.
4. REMOVE DRAIN HOSE
