REASSEMBLY
1. INSTALL DRAIN HOSE
2. INSTALL COOLER EXPANSION VALVE
|
(a) Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 4 new O-rings and the fitting surface of the tube and expansion valve. Compressor oil: ND-OIL 8 or equivalent |
|
(b) Using a 5 mm hexagon wrench, install the cooler expansion valve with the 2 bolts.
Torque:
3.5 N·m {35 kgf·cm, 30in·lbf}
(c) Install the grommet.
3. INSTALL EVAPORATOR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

(a) Install the evaporator temperature sensor. |
|
4. INSTALL EVAPORATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
|
(a) Install the air refiner filter. |
|
(b) Install the evaporator.
HINT:
When installing a new evaporator, add compressor oil to the evaporator.
Add oil amount:
40 cc (1.4 fl.oz.)
Compressor oil:
ND-OIL 8 or equivalent
(c) Install the No. 1 cooler cover with the 8 screws.
(d) Connect the connector clamp.
