PASSIVE MODE is the function to set the theft deterrent system 30 seconds after having the driver's door closed from opening condition by removing the key from the ignition key cylinder.

In PASSIVE MODE, under the condition that the theft deterrent system is set and after opening either one of the doors, if you do not perform the following operations within 15 seconds, the theft deterrent system will operate by judging the condition as a theft.
