PASSIVE MODE (#) (Passive Mode)

OFF

PASSIVE MODE is a function set by theft deterrent system 30 seconds after having driver's door closed from opening condition by removing key from ignition key cylinder. In PASSIVE MODE, under condition that theft deterrent system is set and after opening one of doors. If following operations are not performed within 15 seconds, theft deterrent system will operate by judging the conditions as theft.

  • Press transmitter unlock button.
  • Insert key to the door key cylinder on driver's or passenger's door and turn it to unlock side.
  • Insert key to ignition key cylinder and turn ignition switch ON.
  • Open trunk with transmitter
  • Open trunk with key
