REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

2. REMOVE SEAT TRACK OUTER COVER

(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the claws and remove the 4 covers.

HINT:

Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 4 bolts.

(b) Disconnect the connectors and remove the seat.

NOTICE:

When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
