INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT BRAKE ACTUATOR SOLENOID

(a) Disconnect the A43 and A45 actuator connectors.

(b) Measure the resistance of the actuator.

Standard resistance:

Tester Connection

2.00 to 2.40 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-2 (SRRH)

6.95 to 7.45 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-3 (SRLR)

2.00 to 2.40 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-4 (SRLH)

6.95 to 7.45 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-7 (SFLR)

2.00 to 2.40 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-8 (SFLH)

6.95 to 7.45 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-1 (SFRR)

2.00 to 2.40 Ω

A43-4 (BS) - A45-1 (SFRH)

6.95 to 7.45 Ω

HINT:

Resistance of each solenoid at 20°C (68°F).

NG

REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR

OK

2.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY - BRAKE ACTUATOR)

NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK

CHECK EACH CONNECTION IF SAME CODE IS STILL OUTPUT AFTER DTC DELETION (IF CONNECTION IS NORMAL, SKID CONTROL ECU MAY BE DEFECTIVE)
