Navigation ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit is the power source circuit to operate the navigation ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT FUSE (ACC, RADIO)

(a) Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.

(b) Remove the RADIO fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

(c) Measure the resistance of the fuses.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

REPLACE FUSE

OK

2.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NAVIGATION ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the N2 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard resistance:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

N2-17 (GND) - Body ground

Below 1 Ω

(c) Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:

Tester Connection

Condition

Specified Condition

N2-9 (+B) - N2-17 (GND)

Always

10 to 14 V

N2-18 (ACC) - N2-17 (GND)

Ignition switch ACC

10 to 14 V
