Reverse Signal Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The navigation ECU receives the reverse signal from the park/neutral position switch and information about the GPS antenna, and then adjusts the vehicle position.

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT NAVIGATION ECU (REV VOLTAGE)

(a) Measure the voltage of the ECU.

Standard voltage:

N2-14 (REV) - Body ground

Ignition switch ON, shift lever R position

10 to 14 V

OK

PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (NAVIGATION ECU - PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH)

(a) Disconnect the N2 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the P1 switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.

Standard resistance:

Tester Connection

Specified Condition

N2-14 (REV) - P1-1

Below 1 Ω

N2-14 (REV) - Body ground

10 kΩ or higher

OK

REPLACE PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY
