INSPECTION PROCEDURE
After checking that the DTC of VGRS is normal, perform the following procedure.

CHECK HEAT PROTECTION OF ACTUATOR
|
(a) Turn the ignition switch ON for 15 minutes.
(b) After 15 minutes, start the engine and perform lock to lock steering slowly (Approximately 90°/sec.) 3 times.
(c) Check number of turns from lock to lock.

(a) Turn the ignition switch ON and start the engine.
(b) Perform steering.

Below 4.9 N*m (50 kgf*cm, 43 ft.*lbf)
HINT:
After completing the inspection or repair, attempt to simulate the problem, and then perform *1 again to reconfirm that the problem does not occur.
