Ignition Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends an ignition switch ON or OFF signal to the ECU.

INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG1, AM1)

(a) Measure the resistance of the ECU-IG1 and AM1 fuses.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

NG

REPLACE FUSE

OK

2.

CHECK SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY (IG VOLTAGE)

(a) Remove the ECU with the connectors connected.

(b) Measure the voltage between terminal IG of the ECU connector and body ground when the ignition switch is ON and OFF.

Standard voltage:
