REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3.
DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
4. DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION FLUID
(a)
Drain automatic transmission fluid
.
5.
REMOVE NO. 1 RADIATOR HOSE
6. REMOVE RADIATOR RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the clamp on the wire from the radiator.
(b) Disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator.
(c) Remove the 2 bolts, reservoir and grommet.
7. REMOVE FAN WITH FLUID COUPLING
(a) Remove the 2 nuts, and disconnect the 2 clamps on the A/C discharge tube from the 2 wire harness brackets.
(b) Remove the 2 bolts, and disconnect the 2 wire harness brackets from the radiator.

(c) Disconnect the 2 oil cooler hoses from the clamp on the fan shroud.

|
|
(d) Loosen the 4 fan pulley mounting nuts holding the fluid coupling to the fan bracket.

(e)
Remove the drive belt
.
|
(f) Remove the 3 bolts holding the fan shroud to the radiator.
|
|
(g) Remove the 4 fan pulley mounting nuts.
(h) Pull out the fan with fluid coupling, fan pulley and fan shroud.
NOTICE:
Be careful not to damage the radiator core.
8. REMOVE FAN

(a) Remove the 4 nuts and fan from the fluid coupling.
