VSC OFF Indicator Light Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This is the VSC control main switch. When the center differential is locked, VSC control goes off and the VSC OFF indicator light lights up.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start from *1. When not using the intelligent tester, start from *2.

PROCEDURE

1.

PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING INTELLIGENT TESTER (VSC OFF INDICATOR)*1

(a) Select the ACTIVE TEST, generate a control command, and then check that the VSC OFF indicator light operates.

CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(b) Check that the the VSC TRAC warning light illuminates.

(c) Check if the same DTCs are recorded.

CHECK WARNING LIGHT

(a) Check the warning lights other than VSC OFF indicator light.

4.

INSPECT RELAY (Marking: IG1 NO. 2)

(a) Remove the IG1 NO. 2 relay from the cowl side junction block LH.

(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.

Standard resistance:

(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 3 and 4)

CHECK COMBINATION METER (COMBINATION METER CIRCUIT)

(a) Check for open circuit in the combination meter circuit.

(a) Check the center differential switch 2006 MY LX470 [05/2005 -        ]; HF2A TRANSFER: CENTER DIFFERENTIAL LOCK SWITCH: INSPECTION .
