REMOVAL
HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. REMOVE SIDE STEP ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Remove the 8 bolts and side step. Torque: 5.0 N·m {51 kgf·cm, 44in·lbf} |

|
(b) w/ Running board lights: Remove the 8 bolts and disconnect the connector. Then remove the side step. |

2. REMOVE ROCKER PANEL MOULDING ASSEMBLY LH
|
(a) Remove the 10 screws. |
|
(b) Using a screwdriver, remove the rocker panel moulding.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
