GPS Antenna Error

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when one of the following occurs: 1) the mayday ECU assembly is malfunctioning; or 2) the GPS antenna assembly is malfunctioning.

1.	INSPECT GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the antenna connector from the ECU.

(b) Measure the resistance of the antenna.

Standard resistance:

Tester Connection	Specified Condition
1 (SIGNAL) - Body ground	50 to 500 Ω

REPLACE GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY THEN CLEAR HISTORIC DTC

2.	CHECK OPERATION OF MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Temporarily replace the mayday ECU and mayday battery with a new one.

(b) Check for the current DTC again.

OK:

System operates normally (red LED off).

NG:

Current DTC 3-1 exists

END (PERFORM REGISTRATION)

REPLACE GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY THEN CLEAR HISTORIC DTC
