ECU Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit supplies power to operate the mayday ECU assembly.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT FUSE (TEL, MET, AM2, ACC)

(a) Remove the TEL and AM2 fuses from the engine room junction block.

(b) Remove the ACC fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.

(c) Remove the MET fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

(d) Measure the resistance of the fuses.

Standard resistance:

Below 1 Ω

NG

REPLACE FUSE

OK

2.

INSPECT RELAY (Marking: ACC)

(a) Remove the ACC relay from the cowl side junction block LH.

(b) Measure the resistance of the relay.

Standard resistance:

Tester connection

Specified Condition

3 - 5

10 kΩ or higher

3 - 5

Below 1 Ω

(when battery voltage is applied to terminals 1 and 2)

REPLACE RELAY

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the M14 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the voltage and resistance of the wire harness side connector.

Standard voltage:

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

REPLACE MAYDAY ECU ASSEMBLY TOGETHER WITH MAYDAY BATTERY AND THEN PERFORM REGISTRATION
