INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL ENGINE OIL COOLER

(a) Clean the oil cooler contact surface on the cooler mounting.

(b) Install a new O-ring to the oil cooler.

(c) Apply a light coat of engine oil on the threads and under the head of the union bolt.

(d) Install the oil cooler with the plate washer and union bolt.

Torque:

68.6 N·m {700 kgf·cm, 51ft·lbf}

2. INSTALL OIL FILTER SUB-ASSEMBLY 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT+

3. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: TIMING BELT: INSTALLATION+

4. INSTALL ENGINE UNDER COVER REAR 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE ENGINE MECHANICAL: TIMING BELT: INSTALLATION+

5. ADD ENGINE OIL 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL FILTER: REPLACEMENT+

6. ADD ENGINE COOLANT 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLANT: REPLACEMENT+

7. CHECK FOR ENGINE COOLANT LEAKS

(a) Check for engine coolant leaks 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE COOLING: COOLING SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION+ .

8. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: LUBRICATION SYSTEM: ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION+
