DESCRIPTION
The SRS warning light is located on the combination meter.
When the SRS is normal, the SRS warning light comes on for approximately 6 seconds after the ignition switch is turned from the LOCK position to ON position, and then turns off automatically.
If there is a malfunction in the SRS, the SRS warning light lights up to inform the driver of the abnormality.
When terminal TC and CG of the DLC3 are connected, the DTC is indicated by blinking the SRS warning light.

CHECK CONNECTION OF CONNECTOR |
(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds.
(b) Check that the connectors are properly connected to the center airbag sensor.

Connectors are connected.

(a) Turn the ignition switch to LOCK. (b) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds. (c) Disconnect the C16 combination meter connector. (d) Disconnect the C32 center airbag sensor connector. (e) Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors. Standard resistance:

(a) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds. (b) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (c) Measure the voltage between the body ground and LA of the C32 center airbag sensor connector. Standard voltage: below 1 V |

|
(a) Disconnect the negative (-) terminal cable from the battery, and wait at least for 90 seconds. (b) Connect the C16 combination meter connector. (c) Connect the negative (-) terminal cable to the battery, and wait at least for 2 seconds. (d) Turn the ignition switch to ON. (e) Measure the voltage between the body ground and LA of the C32 center airbag sensor connector. Standard voltage: 10 to 14 V |
