INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

When using the intelligent tester, start from *1. When not using intelligent tester, start from *2.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK AUTOMATIC LIGHT CONTROL SENSOR*1

(a) Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

(b) Turn the ignition switch on and intelligent tester main switch on.

(c) The value of the illumination rate should change in the following range when the light sensor is put in the light or covered by a hand.

OK:

0.8 to 22.0 ms

HINT:

This is the time to be taken for the light sensor to generate one circle of frequency according to the brightness.
