INSTALLATION
1. CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the hood lock control cable with the hood lock.
2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY (ENGINE HOOD COURTESY SWITCH)

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding surface of the lock. |
|
(b) Install the hood lock (engine hood courtesy switch) with the 2 bolts and nut.
Torque:
8.0 N·m {82 kgf·cm, 71in·lbf}
3. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
4. PERFORM INITIALIZATION
