REMOVAL

1. DISCHARGE FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE FUEL: FUEL INJECTOR: REMOVAL+

2. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

3. REMOVE V-BANK COVER 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; 2UZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM: CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL+

4. REMOVE FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR

(a) Disconnect the vacuum sensing hose from the pressure regulator.

(b) Disconnect the fuel return hose from the pressure regulator.

NOTICE:

Put a cloth or equivalent under the pressure regulator.

(c) Remove the 2 bolts, and pull out the pressure regulator.

(d) Remove the O-ring from the pressure regulator.
