INSPECTION
1. INSPECT REAR SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (ELR / ALR)
(a) Make sure that the belt locks when pulled out quickly.
(b) Remove the locking retractor assembly.
HINT:
Before removing the pretensioner connector, be sure to read the precautionary notice in the SRS section.
(c) Pull out the whole belt and measure the length of the whole belt.
(d) Retract the belt slightly and pull it out again, and make sure that the belt cannot be pulled out further.
If any problem is found, replace the assembly.

(e) Retract the whole belt, then pull out the belt until 200 mm (7.87 in.) of the belt is remaining in the retractor. |

(f) Tilt the retractor slowly.
|
(g) Make sure that the belt can be pulled out at a tilt of 15° or less, and cannot be pulled out at over 45°. If any problem is found, replace the assembly. |
