Power Source Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit supplies power source to the suspension control ECU. Therefore the AHC pump and motor and damping force control actuator can be operated.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK BATTERY

(a) Start the engine.

(b) Check the battery positive voltage.

Standard voltage:

10 to 16 V

CHECK AND REPAIR CHARGING SYSTEM

OK

2.

CHECK SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU (IG - BODY GROUND)

(a) Remove the suspension control ECU with connectors still connected.

(b) Turn the ignition switch ON.

(c) Measure the voltage between terminal IG of the suspension control ECU and body ground.

Standard voltage:

9 to 14 V

NG

GO TO STEP 4

OK

3.

CHECK SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU (GND - BODY GROUND)

(a) Remove the suspension control ECU with connectors still connected.

(b) Measure the resistance between terminal GND of the suspension control ECU and body ground.

Standard resistance:

Below 1Ω

OK

REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU

4.

INSPECT FUSE (AHC-IG)

(a) Remove the AHC-IG fuse from the cowl side junction bock LH.

(b) Measure the resistance of the fuse.

Standard resistance:

Below 1Ω

NG

REPLACE FUSE

OK

5.

CHECK WIRE HARNESS (SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU - BATTERY)

NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS AND CONNECTOR

OK
