INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

(a) Apply MP grease to the sliding areas of the lock.

(b) Install the hood lock.

(c) Install the 2 bolts and nut.

Torque:

8.0 N·m {82 kgf·cm, 71in·lbf}

2. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

(a) Push the rear side cable through the grommet.

(b) Using a screwdriver, push the cable stopper into the grommet.

HINT:

  • Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
  • Do not damage the grommet with the screwdriver.

(c) Pass the front side cable through the upper radiator support.

(d) Install the cable to the clamps.

3. INSTALL HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the hood lock control lever sub-assembly 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD: COMPONENTS .

4. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH

(a) Install the front fender liner LH 2007 MY LX470 [08/2006 -        ]; ENGINE HOOD / DOOR: HOOD: COMPONENTS .
