Jam Protection Function does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

This symptom may occur to all door windows.

The jam protection function operates within a specified range during the manual up or auto up operation.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

PERFORM INITIALIZATION

(a) Initialize the power window regulator motor WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: INITIALIZATION (2008 LX570) .

(b) Check if the power window auto up/down function operates WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK (2008 LX570) .

OK:

Auto up/down function operates.

CHECK JAM PROTECTION FUNCTION OPERATING RANGE

(a) Check if the jam protection function operates for applicable power window.

HINT:

The jam protection function does not operate from the fully closed position of the door glass to 4 mm (0.157 in.) below that.
