DESCRIPTION

These DTCs are stored when an error occurs in the CPU of the telephone ECU assembly.

2-1	An internal communication error in the telephone ECU assembly.	Telephone ECU assembly
2-2	A checksum error in the telephone ECU assembly.	Telephone ECU assembly

Current DTC	Historic DTC only
Disconnect and reconnect battery. Check for current DTCs. If DTC returns, replace telephone ECU assembly and mayday battery (backup battery).	If this is only a historic DTC, the system has already recovered normally and should be operating normally. Clear historic DTCs.

1.	RESET TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Exit diagnosis mode and wait for 10 seconds.

(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

NOTICE:

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected .

(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG), and then check for the current DTC and historic DTC again .

Current DTC 2-1 or 2-2 is output	A
Historic DTC 2-1 or 2-2 is output	B

3.	CHECK TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Press the SERVICES button and check the LEXUS Link condition with the LEXUS Link call center.

OK:

System operates normally.

NG:

System does not connect to LEXUS Link call center (current DTC 2-1 or 2-2 is stored).

4.	REPLACE TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY TOGETHER WITH MAYDAY BATTERY
