Network Access Device Communication Error

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when a communication error occurs between the CPU and each interface in the telephone ECU assembly.

Historic DTC only

Disconnect and reconnect battery. Wait 5 minutes with engine switch on (IG). Check DTCs. If DTC is not output, place test phone call. If DTC 2-6 is output, replace telephone ECU assembly and mayday battery (backup battery).

If this is only a historic DTC, the system has already recovered normally and should be operating normally. Place a test call to verify functionality and then clear historic DTCs.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

RESET TELEPHONE ECU ASSEMBLY

(a) Exit diagnosis mode and wait for 10 seconds.

(b) Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 minutes.

NOTICE:

(c) Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) battery terminal, and wait for 10 seconds.

NOTICE:

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected INTRODUCTION: REPAIR INSTRUCTION: INITIALIZATION (2008 LX570) .

(d) Turn the engine switch on (IG).

(e) Keep the engine switch on (IG) for 5 minutes or more.

(f) Check for DTC again CELLULAR COMMUNICATION: LEXUS LINK SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .
