ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT CLEANER CONTROL RELAY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

6 (PB) - 4 (E)

Battery voltage is not applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H)

10 kΩ or higher

Battery voltage is applied between terminals 3 (IG) and 2 (H)

Below 1 Ω (0.8 to 0.9 seconds, then no continuity exists)

If the result is not as specified, replace the headlight cleaner control relay.
