INSPECTION
1. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY
(a) Set the back door lock to the full-latch position.
(b) Apply battery voltage to the door motor connector and check the operation of the door lock motor.

2. INSPECT BACK DOOR LOCK ASSEMBLY (w/ Power Back Door)

(a) Inspect the closer motor operation. (1) Set the back door lock assembly to the full-latch position. (2) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the door lock motor. OK:
If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly. (3) Set the back door lock assembly to the half-latch position. (4) Apply battery voltage and check the operation of the door lock motor. OK:
If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly. |
