Main Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The power back door main switch only turns off while the switch is being pressed, and turns on when the switch is released.

When the switch is on, a power back door operation request signal is input to the power back door ECU.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (POWER BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH)

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the power back door main switch.

INSPECT POWER BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH



(a) Remove the power back door main switch DOOR / HATCH: POWER BACK DOOR MAIN SWITCH: REMOVAL (2008 LX570) .

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SWITCH - UNIT AND BODY GROUND)



(a) Disconnect the E80 switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the L36 unit connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
