Remote Up / Down Function does not Operate

DESCRIPTION

When the engine switch is on (IG) and window lock switch is off, the multiplex network master switch sends remote up/down signals to each power window regulator motor via the LIN communication line.

CHECK LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

(a) Check for LIN communication system DTCs related to the power window control system NETWORKING: LIN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

LIN communication system DTCs are not output.

OK

2.

CHECK MULTIPLEX NETWORK MASTER SWITCH (WINDOW LOCK SWITCH)

(a) Turn the window lock switch off and operate the switches on the multiplex network master switch. Check that the remote up/down function operates WINDOW / GLASS: POWER WINDOW CONTROL SYSTEM: OPERATION CHECK (2008 LX570) .

OK:

Remote up/down function operates.
