CAN Communication Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

  • The AFS ECU receives an engine running status signal and shift position signal from the ECM using CAN communication.
  • The AFS ECU receives front speed sensor LH and RH signals from the skid control ECU using CAN communication.
  • The AFS ECU receives the headlight status signal from the main body ECU using CAN communication.
  • The AFS ECU sends an AFS OFF indicator light on or off demand signal to the combination meter ECU using CAN communication.

  • Malfunction in the CAN communication system.
  • Malfunction in the AFS ECU.

CHECK FOR DTC

(a) Clear the DTCs LIGHTING (EXT): LIGHTING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(b) Check for DTCs LIGHTING (EXT): LIGHTING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC B2427 output does not occur.
