Wiper and Washer Switch Circuit

DESCRIPTION

This circuit provides power to operate the windshield wiper switch. The manual operation signals are sent to the windshield wiper ECU.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

INSPECT FUSE (ECU-IG No. 1)

(a) Remove the ECU-IG No. 1 fuse from the cowl side junction block LH.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value in the table below.

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)


(a) Disconnect the E16 switch connector.

(b) Disconnect the E89 ECU connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
