Seat Heater Temperature Sensor Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

Outputs to the temperature sensor of the front seat cushion heater stop if one of the following occurs: 1) the temperature sensor is open or shorted; or 2) the temperature sensor is damaged and its output value does not change.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (SEAT HEATER TEMPERATURE SENSOR)

(a) Check the Data List for proper functioning of the temperature sensor.

(a) Disconnect the c39 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the c43 cushion heater connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
