Climate Control System does not Operate on Passenger Side

DESCRIPTION

When the climate control seat switch is operated, the seat climate control ECU receives the signal and operates the climate control system.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK FUSE (SEAT-A/C FAN, SEAT-A/C RH, LH-IG)

(a) Remove the SEAT-A/C FAN fuse from the cowl side junction block RH.

(b) Remove the SEAT-A/C RH fuse from the engine room relay block.

(c) Remove the LH-IG fuse from the main body ECU.

(d) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

SEAT-A/C FAN fuse

Below 1 Ω

SEAT-A/C RH fuse

Below 1 Ω

LH-IG fuse

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SEAT CLIMATE CONTROL ECU - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)



(a) Disconnect the c24 ECU connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the E92 switch connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(a) Disconnect the E92 switch connector.

(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Max cool → Max warm

Below 1 Ω → 5 kΩ

(a) Disconnect the c24 ECU connector.

(b) Disconnect the E92 switch connector.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
