Passenger Side Air Outlet Damper Control Servo Motor Circuit

DESCRIPTION

The front air mix damper servo motor (for front passenger side rear air flow) sends pulse signals to inform the air conditioning amplifier assembly of the damper position. The air conditioning amplifier assembly activates the motor (normal or reverse) based on the signals to move the front air mix damper (for front passenger side rear air flow) to any position. As a result, the amount of air that has passed through the evaporator and is passing through the heater core is adjusted, and the temperature of the air blowing toward the rear passenger side is controlled.

HINT:

Confirm that no mechanical problem is present because this trouble code can be stored when either a damper link or damper is mechanically locked.

READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (FRONT AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO MOTOR)

(a) Use the Data List to check if the servo motor is functioning properly.

CHECK FRONT AIR MIX DAMPER SERVO MOTOR (OPERATION)

(a) Replace the front air mix damper servo motor (for front passenger side rear air flow) HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: FRONT AIR CONDITIONING UNIT: DISASSEMBLY (2008 LX570) .

HINT:

Since the servo motor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servo motor with a normal one.

(a) Clear the DTCs HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(b) Check for DTCs HEATING / AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC B1458 is not output.
