1. INSTALL ROOF CARRIER ASSEMBLY

(a) Clean the threaded surface on the vehicle body with a non-residue solvent.

(b) Apply adhesive to the threads of the 8 bolts.

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1324, Three Bond 1324 or equivalent

(c) Install the roof carrier with the 8 bolts.

Torque: 39 N·m (398 kgf·cm, 29 ft·lbf)

(d) Adjust the roof rack support positions and tighten the roof carrier caps.

2. INSTALL REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the cover.

3. INSTALL REAR ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH

Use the same procedures described for the LH side.

4. INSTALL FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER LH

(a) Attach the 2 guides and 4 claws to install the cover.

5. INSTALL FRONT ROOF RACK LEG COVER RH
