Lower tail gate courtesy switch

Detects whether lower tail gate is open or closed. This switch turns on when lower tail gate is open or ajar and turns off when it is fully closed.

Half-latch switch

Detects ajar position of latch. This switch turns on when latch is in open-latch position.

Pawl switch

Detects the tail gate position.

Close position switch

Detects fully closed position of latch. This switch turns on when latch is in over-latch position.

Back door remote control

When the back door remote control is operated and a back door remote control signal is sent, the No. 2 main body ECU performs the lower tail gate open operation.

Lower tail gate lock

Receives an operation signal from the No. 2 main body ECU to open/close the lower tail gate. Also detects the lower tail gate position signal through the built-in close position switch, half-latch switch and lower tail gate courtesy switch.

Combination meter

Sends the vehicle speed signal to the No. 2 main body ECU via CAN communication.
